Thomas is stubborn but so is Minho, to the point where he sometimes doesn’t listen to reason. Maybe there was no stopping Thomas, but Minho is a person of habit, and he relies very strongly on his survival instincts. So I think if Minho honestly didn’t want to guide Thomas he would have just left him to do it on his own because he’d rather look out for himself first than care about what Thomas was doing. But the bond is definitely there, romantically or brotherly or any other kind possible. I just really like their dynamic in general, no matter what context we’re looking at it in.
I don’t really ship Thomas and Teresa either though. I can’t really remember the ages they were when the first met but they were young and they basically grew up together, so it’s definitely more of a loving, sibling bond to me. I don’t even think Teresa was that jealous of Brenda, I think if anything she would be upset at the general feeling of Thomas distancing himself and feeling like she was being replaced.
